Although you will hate the public praise, we need to say a very special Thank you to Mrs Knight. When the students wanted to go out to do more outdoor learning, planning cover and lifts meant we couldn’t do it as much as we’d have liked. ‘It would be easier if we could just take them ourselves’ cue Mrs Knight taking her own time to become a fully fledged mini bus driver!
‘It would be great if we could take our special unit students swimming’ we return to school from half term and Mrs Knight was a fully fledged swimming instructor. Nothing is ever too much, if it benefits the kids, gives them life skills and enhances their learning she’s there! You are the HLTA of the year to us, even if it’s not official.
