I have a wonderful TA with my bottom set Y7 English class. Cath Stokes has been utterly magnificent and tireless in her support for the huge variety of needs – I genuinely couldn’t cope without her. She is calm, positive and friendly at all times and is unflappable in dealing with some incredibly challenging behaviour along with a wide variety of needs – including EAL. She is also superb at communicating the needs of the students and reminding me of the adaptations I need to make to ensure the specific needs of the students are met. As well as helping me keep track of achievement and toilet visits. She is worth her weight in gold.
