All submissions are reviewed by Teaching Personnel’s Senior Directors.
Our judges then pick the five TAs – one from each category who are the classroom champions that have gone the extra mile to make the biggest impact on pupils lives and relieve pressure on teachers.
How are the winners announced?
On September 25th, we reveal our five talented winners.
They will each be presented with a special certificate, a glass trophy and a voucher.

How do I nominate someone for an award?
Simply fill out your details on the form above and click ‘Send Nomination’.
How do I nominate someone for an award?
Simply fill out your details on the nomination form and click ‘Nominate your TA’.
How many nominations can I submit?
You may nominate as many individual teaching assistants as you wish, however we can only accept one nomination per teaching assistant.
Who should complete the nomination form?
Anyone employed by the school where the nominated teaching assistant has worked can make a nomination, from Head Teachers to office administrators.
When is the deadline for nominations to be submitted?
The deadline for nominations is Monday 25 May 2026. Unfortunately, late submissions cannot be accepted.
When will the winner be announced?
Winners will be announced on National Teaching Assistants’ Day, Friday 25 September 2026 on the website and throughout social media. The winning teaching assistants and their nominating schools will be contacted in order to arrange a suitable time for the award presentation.
Can I nominate myself for an award?
Self-nominations are not accepted.
