Nominate your Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistants make classrooms work. They dedicate themselves to supporting teachers and enriching kids’ education through collaboration and close guidance.

A day for Teaching Assistants

29th September is a day for them. And on this day, we honour the TAs who go above and beyond for pupils with our National Teaching Assistant of the Year award.

Thank them for their service

We are calling on schools to nominate their TA Classroom Champions and to help with your nomination entry you may want to consider:

  • Someone who has championed diversity and inclusion
  • Someone who has gone beyond their responsibilities to support students or have changed a particular student(s) life.

Eight magic TAs

Our specialist judges will read over all your submissions to pick the winning TAs from eight categories to win some special prizes

  • Primary TA
  • Secondary TA
  • SEN TA
  • Social Media TA
  • TA Apprentice
  • HLTA Primary
  • HLTA Secondary
  • HLTA Special Needs

We want to make sure that every teaching assistant out there knows that they’re a classroom champion, so all nominees will receive a special certificate to keep as a little reminder of how much they mean to their schools.
